Dubai - Gulf International Trading Group (GITG), a leader in the trading of high-quality, eco-friendly construction materials in the Middle East, is one of this year's top eco-tech exhibitors at The Big 5 International Building and Construction Show, held from November 23-26 at the Dubai International Exhibition Centre. Long established as the principle trade event for the building and construction industry in the Arabian Gulf, The Big 5 offers a unique platform for companies to demonstrate, educate and gain valuable insights into their clientele.

At the exhibition, GITG is featuring several of the most cutting-edge products from five of its top international trade partners. These include the companies Romag, AluFlam, Hydrogenics Corporation, Vetrotech Saint-Gobain, and Stalprofil AB. An exhibition manual is provided to visitors in which they can find information on who to contact for services, how to maximize their exposure at the event, the rules and regulations of exhibiting and much more. The GITG exhibition will be located in Hall 11, stand number 11A147.

Mr. Khalid Al Midfa, CEO and Chairman of Gulf International Trading Group, is attending the event personally and speaking directly to regional developers. Commenting on his company's participation, Mr. Al Midfa says:

"In meeting the market demands of 2010, The Big 5 is a great opportunity to connect with regional businesses and develop supplysolutions that benefit our partners and the rest of the construction industry. Especially considering the recent political support for the use of green materials in the UAE, it will be an exciting year for companies like GITG who specialize in eco-friendly construction materials. You never know what could happen, but our expectations are high."

This year the event organizers have already projected over 2,500 exhibiting companies and 55,000 visitors to attend. Part of the exhibition includes an awards ceremony with over 125 registered entrants this year. In addition to the exhibition, The Big 5 also hosts a business-focused and an engineering-focused conference during the same week, both of which are held at The Monarch Hotel in Dubai.

Not long after The Big 5, Gulf International Trading Group will be participating in the United Nations Climate Change Conference in Copenhagen, Denmark, from December
